This is my website. It contains a bit about me; a list of significant publications; and a mixed bag of sample texts.
These include: a tribute to the Ethiopian educational pioneer Asfaw Yemiru; some philosophical reflections (an ‘anachronistic letter to Spinoza’, a mapping of the ‘cardinal virtues of openness’; and a scheme of ideal House of Lords reform, along the lines of ‘agapacracy’); and poetry translations from the German of Nelly Sachs and Friedrich Hölderlin.
